Marukyu ISOME Whiting rig uses the concept of very popular fishing rig in Japan called Tenpin rig which has two wire section connected with the sinker.
It is designed to maximise the casting ability and also has very good presentations of the bait(ISOME) in the water. During the field test for whiting fishing, the field tester has noticed the colour of red aurora beads attract more fish than standard red beads.
The special Japanese style of hook is equivalent to size 6 hooks in Australian standard. The special designed hooks are made for worms and the size is perfect for different whiting species.
The package also has the spare set of hooks which you can replace.
It is a very simple rig to use for weekender and also very handy when you take your kids fishing.
