Description
A low cost repair kit which will fix leaks in rubber Wellington gumboots, waders and trainers, and repair worn soles, split stitching and damage in soles and uppers. Keep you feet dry and keep your favourite shoes going for another year or two. Use this on Le Chameau, Aigle, Hunter, Barbour and most other types of rubber boots and Wellies.
Always use the clear adhesive on splits and cracks where the boot bends (when you walk). This will keep them watertight and also strengthen the area around the damage. USe the self adhesive patches on flat areas which are not under stress and for fabric on waders and waterproof clothing.
This kit contains a tube of Storrmsure Flexible Repair Adhesive and 2 x 75mm circular self adhesive patches. The patches are a new material which is stretchy and highly conformable and very tough.
Use patches on waders and flat surfaces of gumboots for instant repairs. For awkward splits and holes and over seams and stiching use the Stormsure Adhesive. This will for a permanent repair on all sorts of damage, and does not need a patch, even when covering a hole. The glue cures slowly and leaves a very tough flexible film, which will stick to leather, Gortex, nylon,most plastics, rubber and polyurethane. The film will not crack in freezing temperature and is completely waterproof. The cured glue will probably have better abrasion resistance than the existing sole!
